Shores Pediatrics Covid-19 Protocol

To our beloved patients at Shores Pediatrics:

  • Well visits will be seen in the mornings

  • Sick visits (see below) will be seen only in the afternoons

  • Sick visits need to be scheduled

    Please wait in your car and we will call you when the room is ready. You will not wait in the waiting room.

Important COVID-19 Protocol

•If the patient has traveled to any High-Risk Level 3 area (China, Iran, South Korea, Europe, UK, Ireland, Scotland, Wales, Washington, California, New York or Cruises) and has a fever, sore throat, shortness of breath, cough, etc, - go to Nicklaus Children's ER.

•If the patient has had DIRECT contact with someone who tested positive for COVID-19 and has symptoms, go to ER If the patient has not traveled and has not been in direct contact with anyone testing positive but is sick, call us for an appointment and he/she will be seen and taken care of.

•We do not have proper protective gear to test you for the COVID-19 virus and are therefore not offering the test right now. If we are shut down or you are unavailable to come in, we are being trained in telemedicine and will be offering this service asap.

•Please wait in your car and we will call you when the room is ready. You will not wait in the waiting room. Important COVID-19 Protocol Take out the board games, enjoy your one on one time with your families, wash your hands and practice social distancing with others. We are here if you need us!
